SENIOR DIVISION

 

Coder 13, Swamp Run 0

 

Aaron Park threw a 20-yard touchdown pass to Denton Brentham and scored on a 1-yard run to lead Coder past Swamp Run. Logan Reddinger added a 30-yard TD run for Coder.

JUNIOR DIVISION

 

Sandy Lick 26, Bell Township 13

 

Nathan Taylor tossed a 10-yard pass to Jamison Rhoades and scored another TD on a 25-yard run to lead Sandy Lick past Bell Township. Also scoring for Sandy Lick were Coyha Brown on a 10-yard run and Baily Miller on an 8-yard run. Dominic Phillips and Jacob Frampton scored 1-point conversions. For Bell Township, Jackson Fezell threw a 20-yard TD pass to Jake Henretta and Kiersten Riley dashed 40-yards for a touchdown. Fezell tossed a 1-point conversion pass to Henretta.

 

Broad Acres 24, East End 13

 

Owen Caylor scored on two touchdown runs to lead Broad Acres to a win. Garner McMaster and Camdyn Davie added touchdowns. For East End, Aramy Ferrent and Gavin Edwards scored touchdowns.

 

Main Street 25, Bell Township 0

 

Jace Miner caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Tate Lindermuth and added a 35-yard TD run to lead Main Street past Bell Township. Xander Gardner scored on a 39-yard run and added a 1-point conversion, and Bay Harper chipped in with a 45-yard TD run.

 

Belgiumtown 12, Walston 6

 

Bryson Russell and Danny Lauer scored touchdowns in Belgiumtown’s win over Walston. Donnie Neese scored six points for Walston.

 

 

Main Street 24, West End 13

 

Jace Miner scored four touchdowns, three of them on runs and the other on a pass from Tate Lindermuth to lead Main Street past West End. Hayden Terres and Alex Phillips scored touchdowns for West End while Logan Polipo added a 1-pointer.

 

 

Sigel 47, East End 14

 

Zakk Wolfe scored three touchdowns, including a 58-yard run, in Sigel’s win over East End. Garrett Park scored two touchdowns, including one on an interception return. Hayden Osborne returned an interception for a score as well. Patrick Diedrich added a touchdown run while he, Park and Osborne added conversions. For East End, Aramy Ferrent scored a touchdown while Gavin Edwards threw a TD pass to Braxton Sherry. Ferrent made a two-point conversion.

JUNIOR DIVISION


Sandy Lick 24, Walston 20


Nathan Taylor’s 30-yard pass to Jamison Rhoades with just under two minutes remaining in regulation gave Sandy Lick a come-from-behind win over Walston. Rhoades scored three touchdowns in all, the others on a 45-yard pass from Taylor and a 40-yard run. Emaa Venesky found the end zone on a 35-yard run. For Walston, Donnie Neese, Zack Bard and Peyton Hetrick scored touchdowns.


Main Street 31, Broad Acres 6


Main Street kept its unbeaten season going with a win over Broad Acres as Jace Miner had a hand in four of his team’s five touchdowns. He scored on runs of 45 and 59 yards, caught a 10-yard pass Tate Lindermuth and threw a 30-yard touchdown pass to Anthony Taylor. Lindermuth also threw a 20-yard TD pass to Conner Perry and Brecken Cieleski scored on a 1-point conversion run. For Broad Acres, Camdyn Davie scored on a 50-yard run.


Sandy Lick 18, Sigel 7


Nathan Taylor threw two touchdown passes and ran for another to lead Sandy Lick past Sigel. Taylor connected with Griffin Ruhlman on a 15-yard toss and a 10-yarder to Jamison Rhoades while running one in from 5 yards out. For Sigel, Patrick Diedrich scored on a 20-yard run and Garrett Park added a one-point conversion run.


East End 30, Belgiumtown 12


Aramy Ferrent scored on runs of 50 and 45 yards, and Brandt Sherry scored on a 40-yard interception return to lead East End to a win over Belgiumtown. Noah Weaver and Jeremy Beatty also found the end zone for East End. Belgiumtown scored both touchdowns on interception returns, Danny Lauer on a 45-yarder and Bryson Russell on a 47-yarder.


West End 24, Bell Township 18


Hayden Terres scored two touchdowns while Alex Phillips and Logan Polipo added scores in West End’s win over Bell Township, which got touchdowns from Kiersten Riley, Kyle Nesbit and Jackson Fezell.



SENIOR DIVISION


Coder 14, Adrian 12


Ethan Brentham threw a 10-yard touchdown pass to Aaron Park and Cameron Hooven scored on a 35-yard run to lead Coder to a win. Adrian scored on two touchdown passes. Willie Hoover threw one to Triston Bair and caught a 30-yard pass from Evan Humble.


Rossiter 20, Swamp Run 19


Ethan Blose threw a touchdown pass to Alex London with 30 seconds left in the game to lift Rossiter past Swamp Run. Cameron Smith and Blose also scored touchdowns. For Swamp Run, Keelan Kunselman scored two touchdowns and Brady Caylor added the other.

With the cancellation of games at Brookville, three games at Walston were the lone games on the Week 3 schedule:

 

SENIOR DIVISION

 

Rossiter 32, Adrian 18

 

Rossiter avenged its season-opening loss to Adrian as Cameron Smith scored three touchdowns, two of them receptions and the other on a run. Ethan Blose and Alex London also had TD runs. Adrian’s scores weren’t available.

 

JUNIOR DIVISION

 

Walston 32, Bell Township 18

 

Nick Humble scored three touchdowns, two on runs and another on an interception, to lead Walston past Bell Township. Sheldon Young and Zack Bard also scored touchdowns. For Bell Township, Kiersten Riley caught a TD pass on the first play of the game and Jackson Fezell scored on two runs.

 

 

West End 30, East End 24

 

Gage Bair and Hayden Terres each scored two touchdowns to lead West End past East End. Brice Rowan scored twice for East End while Aramy Ferrent and Noah Weaver also found the end zone.

SENIOR DIVISION

 

Coder 12, Rossiter 6, OT

 

Aaron Park’s 15-yard pass to Cameron Hooven in overtime gave Coder the dramatic win over Rossiter. Ethan Brentham’s 8-yard TD run gave Coder its first touchdown. Brentham set up his own score with a 40-yard run. Cameron Smith scored on a touchdown run for Rossiter.

 

Swamp Run 30, Adrian 6

 

Keelan Kunselman scored three touchdowns to lead Swamp Run to a win over Adrian. Kunselman’s 45-yard TD run got things started. He then caught a 10-yard TD pass from Dane Lyle and another scoring pass from Brady Caylor, who also caught a 50-yard pass from David Cable. Deron Shannon also ran in a touchdown for Swamp Run. Adrian got a 30-yard touchdown pass from Willie Hoover to Andrew Britton.

 

JUNIOR DIVISION

 

Walston 39, East End 18

 

Six different players found the end zone to lead Walston to its second win. Kyle Polling, Nick Humble, Peyton Hetrick, Sheldon Young, Zach Bard and Logan Zeitler scored touchdowns. For East End, Noah Weaver, Aramy Ferrent and Gavin Edwards reached the end zone.

 

Main Street 24, Belgiumtown 0

 

Jace Miner scored three touchdowns to lead Main Street past Belgiumtown. He scored on runs of 50, 30 and 14 yards. Tate Lindermuth threw a 25-yard pass to Ryan Sarvey, who also picked off two passes on defense. Bryce Rafferty had an interception for Belgiumtown.

 

Sigel 25, Bell Township 0

 

Zakk Wolfe scored three touchdowns and made two interceptions to lead Sigel to a win. Garrett Park scored a touchdown and added a 1-point conversion run. Patrick Diedrich picked off a pass on defense as well.

 

Sandy Lick 19, Belgiumtown 0

 

Nathan Taylor scored three touchdowns, two of them on interception returns to lead Sandy Lick. Taylor returned his first pickoff 30 yards and then grabbed a deflected pass at the goal line and dashed 60 yards for his third and final score. Earlier, he scored from eight yards out. Coyha Brown added a 1-point conversion run.

 

Broad Acres 18, West End 12

 

Camyden Davie and Owen Caylor led Broad Acres to a hard-fought win over West End. Davie threw an 8-yard touchdown pass to Caylor and scored the go-ahead touchdown on a 1-yard run. Caylor returned a punt 12 yards for a touchdown. Davie also made a touchdown-saving snag near midfield on a West End breakaway play from its own 8-yard line on the final play of the game. Clayton Cook set up Broad Acres’ first touchdown. For West End, Logan Polipo and Aiden Wilson scored touchdowns.

JUNIOR DIVISION

 

Walston 25, West End 14

 

Peyton Hetrick, Nick Humble and Eric Surkala scored touchdowns as Walston beat West End. Hetrick’s run covered seven yards while Humble rambled 40 yards and Surkala 15 yards. For West End, Gage Bair had a pair of touchdown runs of 45 and 25 yards.

 

Bell Township 46, East End 34

 

In a shootout, Keirsten Riley got the game started with a 55-yard touchdown run to help Bell Township hold off East End. Jackson Fezell returned an interception for a touchdown and added a score on a run. For East End, Aramy Ferrent had two long touchdown runs and Braxton Sherry had an interception

 

Main Street 36, Sandy Lick 6

 

Jace Miner threw two touchdown passes, caught a touchdown pass and returned an interception 60 yards for another score to lead Main Street past Sandy Lick. Miner threw a 3-yarder to Ryan Sarvey and a 25-yarder to Bay Harper. Miner also caught a 30-yard pass from Tate Lindermuth, who also caught a 25-yard pass from Conner Perry. Harper added a second touchdown on a 40-yard run. Nathan Taylor ran 65 yards for a touchdown for Sandy Lick.

 

Broad Acres 18, Belgiumtown 12

 

Owen Caylor ran for touchdowns of 30, 40 and 8 yards to lead Broad Acres past Belgiumtown. Bryce Rafferty threw a 59-yard pass to Danny Lauer and scored on a 45-yard run for Belgiumtown.

 

Broad Acres 19, Sigel 7

 

Camdyn Davie scored touchdowns on runs of 10 and 33 yards to lead Broad Acres to its second win of the day in a close game against Sigel. Broad Acres was clinging to a 13-7 lead with Sigel driving late in the game before Josh Popson returned an interception 40 yards to secure the win. Garner McMaster threw a 1-point conversion pass to Owen Caylor for Broad Acres while Garrett Park made it in for a 1-pointer for Sigel.

 

SENIOR DIVISION

 

Swamp Run 24, Coder 0

 

Keelan Kunselman and Deron Shannon each scored two touchdowns to lead Swamp Run past Coder.


Adrian 18, Rossiter 16

 

Andrew Britton, Chase Lorelli and Conner Giavedoni scored touchdowns as Adrian edged Rossiter. Alex London scored two touchdowns and Reese Spicher recorded a safety for Rossiter.
